Our Journey
From informal discussions to a distributed research network
The Beginning
RAIHARC began as informal discussions among students who shared a deep interest in robotics, artificial intelligence, and applied computing. These early conversations emerged during a period when access to structured mentorship and research guidance was limited.
Building Foundations
The community consolidated around shared laboratory spaces. Members engaged in intensive self-directed learning—studying state-of-the-art research papers, validating theories through coding, and collaboratively translating complex algorithms into practical systems. This period shaped RAIHARC's foundational research culture.
Breakthrough Year
A major transition occurred when the team was invited to contribute to the development of the UNNES Digital Center. Despite limited facilities, members simultaneously developed multiple large-scale systems, including SPARKA, REMOSTO, and APPSTRO. This period marked RAIHARC's most productive phase and established its capacity for high-impact applied research.
Organizational Maturity
RAIHARC entered a phase of organizational maturity. With new members joining, the focus shifted toward integration, leadership development, and structured knowledge sharing. Mentorship and internal capacity building became central to the community's mission.
Distributed Network
Members increasingly pursued independent projects across diverse institutions and industries. RAIHARC evolved into a distributed network of practitioners committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and intergenerational knowledge transfer.

Our Purpose
RAIHARC was established to address two fundamental challenges: the loss of tacit knowledge and the fragmentation of research communities. During periods of limited physical interaction and mentorship, valuable expertise became isolated and difficult to access.
Our purpose is to organize, preserve, and disseminate practical research knowledge, enabling individuals and teams to accelerate their development through guided momentum rather than isolated trial and error.
